In the United States alone, there are over 54 million people living with a physical disability. Worldwide statistics are more staggering. Physically challenged individuals face incredible hurdles in trying to live a 'normal' life, let alone an active lifestyle. In addition to the obvious physical and mental challenges, the costs of proper prosthetics or handcycles, for example, are in most cases prohibitive. The complexities faced by people with disabilities in poor countries are even more boggling. More>>

who is Gildred and Scully?
We are just a couple of ordinary, unmarried, no kids, globe-riding friends who believe our active lifestyles are gifts.
